M. Clarkson is a Mission Systems Engineer at Advanced Space and a former Executive Director of the Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS). She has been dedicated to space exploration and education, volunteering countless hours supporting NewSpace conferences, actively contributing to the Space Frontier Foundation since 2015, and serving on the board since 2022.
