Leet Wood

Experienced Planner, Analyst, Communicator, and Scholar

I am a Senior Regulatory Research Analyst at the Edison Electric Institute (EEI), the trade association for investor-owned electric companies. I lead research projects on regulatory and security issues to support EEI's policy and advocacy efforts and assist in preparing written materials for various clients

.

Previously, I was a research intern at the International Peace and Security Institute (IPSI) while working part-time at EEI. At IPSI, I contributed to significant research and business development projects. Before that, I spent three years as a Graduate Research Assistant at George Mason University, conducting research on security issues. I enjoy the challenges at EEI, especially collaborating with my team to develop research plans and effective work products.

My research interests include advanced technology and security, energy technology policy, global commons governance, and outer space law. Outside work, I enjoy reading science fiction, writing, playing tabletop games, trying new recipes, and spending time with my dog, Lola.
